Chesnaught with the Mightiest Mark Returns to 7-Star Tera Raid Battles The Rock-Tera Type Chesnaught with the Mightiest Mark has returned to 7-Star Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. This limited-time event gives Trainers another opportunity to battle and catch one of the game’s most sought-after Pokémon. Event Duration and Availability The Chesnaught with the Mightiest Mark will appear at black Tera crystals from Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. During this window, players can challenge the Rock-Tera Type Chesnaught in 7-Star Tera Raid Battles. How to Participate To access this event, Trainers must first download the latest Poké Portal News. This is done by selecting Poké Portal in the X menu, then navigating to Mystery Gift and choosing Check Poké Portal News. Once updated, players can locate the Chesnaught by looking for sparkling pillars of light emanating from Tera Raid crystals in the Wild Area. Eligibility Requirements To battle and catch the Chesnaught with the Mightiest Mark, Trainers must either complete the postgame events that follow the main story of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet or join a 7-Star Tera Raid Battle hosted by a Trainer who has completed those events. Catch Limitations and Replay Value This special Chesnaught can be caught only once per save data. Although, players who have already caught it can still participate in the event to earn additional rewards. These include significant amounts of Exp. Candy for leveling up Pokémon, treasures sellable at Pokémon Centers, items for improving Pokémon stats, and Rock Tera Shards used to change a Pokémon’s Tera Type. About the Chesnaught The Chesnaught featured in this event is a Level 100 Pokémon with the Ability Bulletproof and the Nature Impish. It knows the moves Earthquake, Hammer Arm, Stone Edge, and Wood Hammer, along with additional moves Iron Defense, Bulk Up, and Curse. Its Tera Type is Rock, and it holds no item. Event-Specific Mechanics During the battle, Chesnaught follows a scripted sequence of actions based on its remaining HP and time left in the raid. These include using Iron Defense at 99% time remaining, Earthquake when HP drops to 80%, Bulk Up at 50% HP, and Curse at 50% time remaining. Player stats and status are reset at both 49% HP remaining and 81% time remaining. Rewards and Item Drops Defeating Chesnaught yields a variety of rewards. Base item drops include Exp. Candy L, Exp.
