OF Parker Chavers was promoted to Triple-A Iowa from Knoxville

Shortstop Dixon Machado went 2 for 4 and scored one run.
Miguel Amaya caught five innings on a rehab assignment, going 0 for 3 at the plate.
The Knoxville Smokies were defeated by the Biloxi Shuckers (Brewers) with a final score of 8-4. You can find the full box score here.
Grant Kipp started the game and took the loss, allowing two runs on four hits over four innings. He walked two batters,hit one,and recorded six strikeouts. The Smokies’ bullpen struggled in the eighth inning, as Mitchell Tyranski and Zac Leigh combined to give up six runs.
Shortstop Jefferson Rojas had a perfect night at the plate, going 1 for 1 with three walks. Second baseman Reivaj Garcia was 1 for 4 with a double, scoring one run and driving in another.
