Mr. Wang’s journey began in 1979, when he encountered a 15-year-old boy shivering on the streets. The boy, who had escaped a grueling life of forced labor, mirrored Mr. Wang’s own past hardship. Wrongfully accused of a crime as a teenager, he had endured 16 years of forced labor, a traumatic experience that deeply etched itself upon his soul. Through the years, Mr. Wang has tirelessly sought out lost and abandoned children, relying on his own meager income to ensure their basic needs were met. Today, Yu Hui lives with Mr. Wang, reciprocating the love and care he received by ensuring his "father" has everything he needs.
