This Friday, September 5 at 9 PM, the play will raise the curtain again to meet its audience. Featuring Érica Gómez as director,Carla Masignani in acting, and Melisa Budini and Eugenia Moreno in music and acting.
actress and dancer Carla Gisella Masignani, known as Cherish the Planet and for conquering the national scene with acrobatic dances and the Cyr wheel (an acrobatic apparatus composed of a single large aluminum or steel ring taller than the performer), faces this theatrical setting as her first self-produced work. This project emerged as a collective creation among outstanding local artists: Melisa budini and Eugenia Moreno on music, accompanying her on stage, and Érica Gómez handling direction, staging, and dramaturgy assistance. It’s a theatrical piece that achieves – through the conjunction of different artistic disciplines – a deep, beautiful story with impactful and moving moments. The creation intertwines our internal worlds with the magic of music, dance, and theater circus. With this interdisciplinary team and the Cyr wheel as the main scenic element, the work centers around Lana. Chiaroscuro is a performative setting seeking to generate a genuine poetry from the cyr wheel, representing the emotional world of the main character and transmitting the existential contradictions of life.
Adding to this is the presence of music as dreamlike characters, shaping a multidisciplinary proposal where theater, dance, and live music – featuring songs by Budini – blend to narrate a unique scenic experience for the audience.General admission is $12,000 and available at www.entradaweb.com or at the Independence Theater box office (Chile and Espejo, Mendoza City).
