Q.U.I.D.S are a currency developed by the evil Capital B that is the only acceptable currency within Hivory Towers, forcing staff to invest their hard-earned coin straight back into the company. Q.U.I.D.S can be found everywhere in Yooka-Replaylee and can be spent on the Vendi store for Tonics and cosmetics but more on those in a bit. Coins can also be obtained through special coin challenges or through the golden piggy bank coinelius. Just break him open and collect the coins. He doesn’t mind, I don’t think.
Quills
And how could I forget about the Quills! These writer’s best friends are carefully hidden and can be spent with everyone’s favourite snake in a pair of trousers, Trowzer, for upgrades and cosmetics. Quills come in different colours and are specific to each world, meaning in each world Trowzer sells wares specific to the world that cannot be purchased with Quills from the other levels. Here’s a free tip: Quills typically come in groups of three or four, so you should rarely find yourself in a situation where you are only missing one!
