during the second and last day of the Comic Con 2025, developed in the Port of Sans Souci, it became evident that the pop culture has a diverse audience and enthusiastic in the Dominican Republic.

entire families, illustration professionals, emerging artists and art fans gathered at this event that, beyond entertainment, has established itself as a space for cultural integration and collective creativity.

Among the attendees, Ángela Canahuate, lawyer, university professor and anime lover, highlighted the importance of this type of meetings as spaces of connection between generations.

“The person has different facets. We have to integrate into our community. I am a teacher and I need to know what young people like, how they interact. Also, I came wiht my little nephews; they enjoy a lot and develop. “This type of activities promotes family integration,” he said.

Canahuate also highlighted the incorporation of board games in the children’s programminga proposal that he considers very positive as it promotes human contact beyond the screens.

Angelina Blanco shared her excitement, stating that the best part of Comic con is “dressing up as your favorite characters and seeing everyone else’s amazing costumes.” This sentiment highlights the core appeal of Comic Con – the possibility for creative expression and community engagement through cosplay.
