Courtney Smith: ‘Divide and Conquer’ as Mom of Three

Irish influencer Courtney Smith has opened up about the joys and challenges of navigating life with three young children.

The mum of three, who shares her children Zen, Bodhi, and newborn Nova with her husband Mark, took to Instagram for a Q&A session, addressing followers’ curious minds about her family life.

Managing Three Little Ones

‘DIVIDE AND CONQUER’

“We divide and conquer,” Courtney shared, explaining their carefully orchestrated morning routine. “I sit with them at breakfast so they can see Nova, then either Mark or I get them dressed while the other holds Nova.

‘Then Mark drops them to creche on his way to work,” she added. “It’s a full-on juggle, but we’re making it work.”

Smooth Transition to Three

Another question from a follower was asking how Courtney had been adjusting to three kids, with Courtney noting that while it’s ‘early days’ she is finding the transition easier than going from 1 to 2 children. Pic: Instagram/ Courtney Smith

Courtney added, “Perhaps because Bodhi and Zen are a little older. Zen wasn’t even 16 months when Bodhi arrived so I had two babies!”

“Obviously, this age comes with its own challenges and logistics, but honestly, Zen & Bodhi are absolutely besotted with her.

Prepared for Girl Power

‘PREPARED AS POSSIBLE’

The star also shared that she and Mark knew Nova would be a girl before her arrival, wanting to be “as prepared as possible” both for themselves and their children.

Courtney revealed that they had initially planned to name her November but decided on Nova as a short form nickname.

“We actually preferred the shortened version,” she admitted.
