Cundinamarca Launches Initiative to Support Menstrual Health

(Cundinamarca, September 1, 2025) – The Secretariat of Women and Gender Equity of Cundinamarca has launched a “menstrual dignity” strategy to help over 1,400 women and girls in rural areas across 16 municipalities. The program will provide reusable products and health training.

The initiative aims to end menstrual poverty and improve health, help people save money, and promote sustainability. Beneficiaries will receive menstrual cups, reusable hygiene kits, and workshops on self-care.
