Dental Fraud Scheme Uncovered in France

Investigators seized 1.4 million euros after uncovering a fraud scheme involving dental surgeons and a chartered accountant in the Yvelines region of France. The suspects allegedly defrauded the Primary Health Insurance Fund (CPAM) of Yvelines out of 2.3 million euros. They have been placed under judicial supervision and are prohibited from practicing their professions.

Four dental surgeons and a chartered accountant were referred to the versailles prosecutor’s office on Friday, September 26th, for their involvement in the organized scam. Charges include abuse of corporate assets, concealed labor, money laundering, and complicity in these offenses, according to the gendarmerie.
