New Dermatology Center Aims to Become Regional pilot Hub
A newly established 400 square meter dermatology center, spearheaded by Doctor Dieudonné Ntirandekura, is poised to become a leading facility for dermatological care. While currently operated by Dr. Ntirandekura alone, the vision is to attract fellow dermatologists and establish a pilot center for the region. The center’s modern infrastructure and optimal working conditions are key to this ambition, mirroring the factors that drew Dr. Ntirandekura to the Pôle de santé ten years prior.
The Po Center prioritizes both physician and patient comfort, boasting four consultation rooms, two dedicated to local anesthesia surgery, and two welcoming waiting rooms, all equipped with the latest medical technology. Beyond these visible features, the facility includes a dedicated sterilization room, recovery areas for post-operative patients, staff changing rooms and showers, and a dedicated break room. A full support staff, comprising an administrative secretary, a manager, and a maintenance professional, ensures physicians can focus solely on patient care and diagnosis.
Dr. Ntirandekura aims to provide a patient experience that is both cozy and less stressful than conventional hospital settings.Furthermore, the center will house a state-of-the-art meeting room designed to facilitate training sessions in general dermatology and imaging techniques for general practitioners and home nurses, expanding access to specialized knowledge within the community.
