Emmys 2025: Überraschungssieg einer unbekannten Serie

Die Emmys 2025 sorgten am Wochenende in den USA für Aufsehen: Eine serie triumphierte in der Hauptkategorie, die hierzulande keine Beachtung findet.

Zum nunmehr 77. Mal wurde der wichtigste Fernsehpreis Amerikas verliehen. Moderiert von „SNL”-Veteran Nate Bargatze, gab sich Hollywood bei den Emmys 2025 eher unpolitisch, mit ein paar wenigen Ausnahmen. Genügend Überraschungen konnten trotzdem verzeichnet werden. Den schönsten Abend hatte vermutlich Seth Rogen,der mit seiner Apple-Comedy „The Studio” selbst vier Auszeichnungen gewann,während die Serie insgesamt 13 Trophäen mit nach Hause nahm.

Damit wurde sogar der Rekord-Wert von „The Bear” aus dem Vorjahr übertroffen.

Emmy Awards 2024: “The Pitt” and “The Studio” take Top Honors

“Severance”-Star Tramell Tillman made history as the first Black man to win in his category, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Jeff Hiller scored a surprise win with “Somebody Somewhere” as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy. Hannah Einbinder of “hacks” won Outstanding supporting Actress in a Comedy, her first win after four nominations. Her co-star, Jean smart, has already won seven times.
