Players who pre-purchase the Lord of Hatred expansion can immediately play as the Paladin and experience the “Vessel of Hatred” content, bridging the gap to the full expansion storyline on April 28, 2026. Blizzard Entertainment details the Paladin’s diverse playstyles:

• The Arbiter: Channels the purest form of Light, ascending into Angelic Form for increased speed and clarity.

Warlock Joins the Battle with Lord of Hatred

The Warlock, a master of forbidden knowledge who bends demons to their will, will be fully available with the release of the Lord of Hatred expansion. Blizzard’s Bjorn Mikkelson, a Diablo IV class designer, explained the timing of the Warlock’s introduction, stating that launching alongside the Paladin creates a compelling dynamic. “The class lives and breathes the infamous eternal battle between Heaven and Hell.
