Twink, a close friend and fellow entertainer, fondly remembered Rock as “a great old buddy” who “was adored by his family.” She recalled his unwavering professionalism, saying, “He turned up on time, he rehearsed, he was always impeccably groomed. He had a killer voice, he had a dynamic stage personality and most of all, he was what everybody needs, he was a crowd-pleaser.”

Twink believes Rock’s dedication to his craft, exemplified by his professional demeanor, allowed him to enjoy sustained success. She shared a saying from Las Vegas: “Their fame walks out before they do.” According to Twink, “That was Dickie Rock, everywhere he went, his fame went out before him.”

While Rock achieved immense popularity in Ireland, Twink felt he could have reached international stardom had the right infrastructure been in place during his career.
