Dodgers Face Angels in Final Spring Training Tune-Up Before Opening Day

After six weeks in Arizona, the Los Angeles Dodgers return to Southern California to conclude their exhibition season with the Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Angels. The first game is scheduled for Sunday night at Angel Stadium.

Tyler Glasnow will start for the Dodgers in what is expected to be his final spring tune-up before the regular season. Glasnow is likely to start next weekend against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Opening Day at Dodger Stadium will feature a pitching matchup between Glasnow and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

George Klassen is slated to start for the Angels. The Arizona Complex League (ACL), a rookie-level circuit, recently saw the ACL Angels win their first championship, sweeping the ACL Giants 14-9 in Game 2 of the best-of-3 Finals on Monday night.

Noah Syndergaard has joined the ACL White Sox after signing a Minor League deal, potentially paving his way back to the big leagues. The Arizona Diamondbacks are preparing for their Opening Day series against the Dodgers, with Zac Gallen scheduled to start.
