Elgato Expands Stream Deck Lineup with XL and Novel Audio Accessories
Elgato has announced the Stream Deck + XL, an expanded version of the Stream Deck XL, alongside a new suite of audio accessories designed to enhance livestreaming and content creation workflows. The new products aim to provide creators with more control and flexibility over their setups.
Stream Deck + XL: More Control at Your Fingertips
The Stream Deck + XL builds upon the popular Stream Deck XL, increasing the number of customizable buttons from 32 to 36. Elgato has also integrated new control options, including a touch strip and six dials, offering creators more ways to interact with their software and systems. All controls are customizable, and the touch strip provides visual feedback during adjustments.
Elgato positions the Stream Deck + XL as a solution for complex workflows, allowing users to manage entire productions and systems from a single interface. It’s designed for environments requiring expansive control, such as broadcast studios and editing bays.
Wave XLR Pro and XLR Dock MK.2: Professional Audio Integration
Alongside the Stream Deck + XL, Elgato unveiled the Wave XLR Pro audio interface. This interface features two independent XLR inputs with 80 dB of clean gain each, multiple headphone outputs, and a built-in Maximizer effect to maintain consistent loudness. The Wave XLR Pro also includes per-channel ducking, which automatically lowers other audio sources when the user speaks, ideal for livestreaming scenarios.
The XLR Dock MK.2, exclusively compatible with the Stream Deck +, allows users to connect professional XLR audio devices directly to their Stream Deck. It provides 80 dB of clean gain, 48V phantom power, onboard DSP effects, and low-latency VST Insert support, all manageable through the Stream Deck’s buttons and dials.
