Elvis Costello is embarking on a journey back to his roots with his upcoming 2025 North American tour, “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello.”
This highly anticipated tour will see Costello performing a setlist primarily comprised of material from his first 11 albums, spanning from his 1978 debut *My Aim Is True* to 1986’s *Blood & Chocolate*. Fans can expect a mix of beloved classics and lesser-known gems, all delivered with Costello’s signature wit and musical brilliance.
A Celebration of Early Success
The tour’s name is inspired by the iconic early Costello tune “Radio Radio,” which later became a hit single in 1978.
Costello will be joined on stage by his long-time backing band, the Imposters, featuring guitarist Charlie Sexton, Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas, and Davey Faragher. Together, they’ll recreate the magic of Costello’s early years for a new generation of fans and rekindle the passion of long-time admirers.

A Farewell? For Now, Maybe
While this tour promises to be a celebration of Elvis Costello’s musical legacy, the singer hints that it might also be a farewell to these early songs.
Costello explained, “I don’t want to go back, I want to bring these songs into the present day, once more, in the event they are ever pushed out of the way by the next number that I write. You could say time is running out but only time will tell. Don’t be late, the band hits at eight.”
