Etihad Airways Takes Flight to the Russian Riviera: Sochi!

Get ready to experience the charm of the Black Sea! Etihad Airways announced a brand new route to Sochi, Russia, opening up a world of opportunities for adventure and relaxation. Starting May 29th, 2025, Etihad will offer direct flights to Sochi International Airport (AER) from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi (AUH).

Etihad will operate three weekly flights to Sochi on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, utilizing its A320 family aircraft. Passengers can choose from eight comfortable business class seats or relax in one of the 150 economy seats.

This new route marks yet another milestone in Etihad’s expansion plans, adding to the airline’s impressive list of new destinations.

This year, Etihad is launching flights to Atlanta, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Taipei, along with new European routes to Prague and Warsaw. Additionally, Etihad is strengthening its presence in North Africa with flights to Algiers, Tunis, and Al Alamein. Further expanding its Southeast Asian network, Etihad will launch direct services to Chiang Mai and Krabi in Thailand, Medan in Indonesia, and Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
