Eurosets Unveils "Trilly Baby" Oxygenator at Europerfusion 2026

Biomedical manufacturer Eurosets introduced its new Trilly Baby oxygenator on October 30, 2026, at the Europerfusion conference in Belgrade, Serbia, according to a company announcement covered by Business Wire. Designed specifically for open-heart surgeries involving the smallest patients, the device handles blood flow rates between 0.1 and 1.8 liters per minute.

The Italian biomedical firm engineered the new device to manage the precise demands of cardiopulmonary bypass procedures in patients where the procedure requires care regarding flow control, biocompatibility, and gas exchange performance. Antonio Petralia, CEO of Eurosets, noted that focusing on the smallest patients presents significant technological challenges that demand rigorous design and collaboration with medical professionals. The unveiling event, held October 30–31, also featured Gabriele Pastorelli, Senior Global Marketing Manager for Cardiopulmonary and LATAM Area Manager.

Controlled European Rollout Planned for January 2027

Eurosets expects the Trilly Baby device to receive its CE mark certification by the end of 2026. Following regulatory approval, the company will initiate a controlled market introduction in January 2027, as reported by Business Wire.

This initial rollout will involve 14 leading European centers for pediatric surgery. These facilities were selected based on their specialized expertise in treating the smallest patients and performing advanced extracorporeal perfusion procedures.

Expanding the Italian Biomedical Portfolio

Founded in 1991 within Italy’s Biomedical Valley, Eurosets develops and manufactures medical devices for cardiopulmonary support and extracorporeal therapies. The introduction of the Trilly Baby oxygenator marks another step in expanding the company’s cardiopulmonary and extracorporeal life support portfolios.

We continue to invest in the development of technologies that can meet specific clinical needs, leveraging the expertise we have built over time, Antonio Petralia stated in the company release. The launch aims to broaden the range of solutions available to medical professionals while strengthening the firm’s position in international markets. Our goal is to build an increasingly comprehensive portfolio and strengthen the role of Eurosets in the international perfusion landscape, Petralia added.
