Evan Rottier Returns to ADO Den Haag, Ready to Reclaim His Home

DOHA, Netherlands – The palpable excitement rippling through ADO Den Haag’s Den Haag stadium is no coincidence. The return of 22-year-old forward, Evan Rottier, is not just a transfer, it’s a homecoming. After a successful two-and-a-half-year journey honing his skills at FC Eindhoven, Rottier has signed a deal that will see him don the familiar red and white jersey until mid-2027.

Rottier’s football odyssey began right here in the Netherlands. Starting at local clubs MSV ’71 Maassluis and Excelsior Maassluis in his hometown, he eventually joined the prestigious ADO Den Haag youth academy at the tender age of thirteen. His prodigious talent blossomed within the youth system, culminating in his professional debut for ADO Den Haag in 2020.

A six-month loan spell at Top Oss provided valuable experience, preparing him for his next challenge; a move to FC Eindhoven in 2022. It was in Eindhoven that Rottier truly flourished, racking up an impressive 95 appearances, contributing 25 goals and 16 assists. His consistency and flair drew admiring glances from ADO Den Haag, leading to his emotional return to "The Den."

"We are thrilled to welcome Evan Rottier back to The Hague," declared Technical Director, Joris Mathijsen. “Evan has developed tremendously at FC Eindhoven in recent years. His familiarity with the club and his attacking qualities make him a valuable addition to our squad."

Rottier echoed his excitement, "It feels amazing to be back. It was practically my second home growing up here. It felt strange being away, often finding myself back at the stadium when I had weekends off. So, putting on the ADO Den Haag shirt again means the world to me. It’s a special homecoming."

Rottier’s return is more than just a player coming back; it’s a statement of intent. ADO Den Haag is signaling its ambition to climb the ranks, and Rottier’s talent and experience will be crucial to this ambition. He brings a blend of proven goal-scoring ability, tactical maturity, and a deep understanding of the club’s culture – a potent weapon for any team seeking success.

With Rottier reintegrated, ADO Den Haag’s attack looks frighteningly potent.
