Bertolt Brecht School Hosts Joint training Session with Nuremberg Falcons & 1. FC Nürnberg

On Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, the Bertolt Brecht School was honored to welcome athletes and coaches from two of Nuremberg’s premier sports teams: the Nuremberg Falcons basketball team and 1. FC Nürnberg, a professional soccer club. The visit included head coaches Miroslav Klose (1.FC Nürnberg) and Ralph Junge (Nuremberg Falcons), as well as Basti Doreth, the Falcons’ youth coordinator and a former student of the Bertolt Brecht School. The occasion was a joint training session held in the school’s sports hall, fostering a unique exchange between the professional athletes and the school community.
A Day of Excitement and Inspiration
While the training session itself was closed to the public, the visit generated significant excitement among the students. Many took the chance to meet the athletes, obtain autographs, and experience the presence of these sporting role models firsthand. Although selfies were not permitted, the impromptu autograph session proved to be a highlight of the day, with both students and athletes visibly enjoying the interaction.
