Bern, August 19, 2025 – Following a triumphant two-year pilot phase, the Financial innovation Desk (Find), established in 2023, will transition to the State Secretariat for International Financial questions (SIF) on September 1, 2025. This move underscores Switzerland’s commitment to fostering innovation within its financial sector and maintaining a competitive edge in the global market.

Find was initially created to explore and support advancements in financial technology and buisness models. Its integration into the SIF will ensure a more permanent and strategically aligned framework for promoting these initiatives. The SIF, responsible for international financial policy, is well-positioned to champion innovation as a key component of Switzerland’s financial strategy.

The primary goal remains consistent: to strengthen Switzerland’s position as a leading international financial center by encouraging the progress and adoption of cutting-edge financial solutions. This includes areas such as fintech, blockchain technology, and digital assets, all while upholding the country’s high standards of regulatory oversight and financial stability. The transition is expected to streamline efforts and enhance collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders, further accelerating innovation in the Swiss financial landscape.
