Police in Toronto, Canada, warned drivers on Wednesday that they keep your car windows rolled up after some boxes that were transporting 5 million bees fell from a truck in an area west of the city. They warned that, due to the accident, the insects could take aggressive attitudes.
Police said they received a call around 6:15 in the morning in which it was reported that hundreds of bee boxes they had fallen from a truck on the Guelph Line, a road in Burlingtonstate of ontario, fair west of toronto.
It was “an image extremely shockingdescribed officer Ryan Anderson, adding: “There were boxes literally on the street and swarms of bees were flying around“. “The first beekeeper who arrived apparently received several stings,” the police official explained.
“We are not sure how or what exactly happenedbut at some point the boxes that contained bees or hives they slid off the trailer and spilled all over the highway,” Anderson added.
Police advised drivers close the windows when passing and pedestrians to avoid the area.
