Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi Launches Festive Afternoon Tea

The Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi will launch its seasonal holiday dining experience on December 1, 2026, featuring a festive afternoon tea menu curated by French-born Executive Pastry Chef Nicolas Maugard, press.fourseasons.com reported. Hosted at MAISON MARUNOUCHI with views overlooking Tokyo Station, the limited-time offering runs through December 30, 2026, and costs JPY 12,000 per person.

Seasonal Pastries and French Pâtisserie Techniques

Chef Maugard’s menu combines traditional holiday flavours with playful yuletide motifs, incorporating red and green accents, snowflake decorations, and Christmas tree themes across the display. Standout items include the L’obscur – Strawberry, Pistachio Festive Cake, which mimics a tree bauble with a glossy red glaze, sweet-tart strawberry mousse, and a raspberry confit centre paired with pistachio mousse. The L’hiver – Mont-Blanc Tartlet features a crisp tart shell, toasted almond dacquoise, chestnut compote, chestnut cream, and vanilla Chantilly, finished with a chestnut paste coating and a star-shaped decoration. For chocolate lovers, the Intensité – Chocolate Financier combines a moist dark chocolate financier with chocolate cream and whipped chocolate ganache montée. The pastry selection also features spiced carrot cake and freshly baked scones.

Japanese Holiday Flavors in Savory Selections

The savory menu draws inspiration from local winter dining customs in Japan. The Marunouchi Festive Fried Chicken is served as a bite-sized canapé with house-made pickles designed to cut through the richness of the coating, nodding to Japan’s popular Christmas fried chicken tradition. A Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Mille Crepes is topped with salmon roe (ikura), while a Creamy Kegani Crab Bisque uses hairy crab from Japanese winter seafood markets, finished with aromatic prawn oil.

Booking and Availability Details

The Festive Afternoon Tea runs daily from December 1 to December 30, 2026, at MAISON MARUNOUCHI within the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi. The experience is priced at JPY 12,000. Reservations can be made online or by phone at +81 3 5222 5880.
