Leinster Team News: Frawley Out, Barrett Impresses
Leinster head coach Leo Cullen has confirmed several notable absentees for the upcoming Champions Cup clash against Clermont Auvergne on Saturday.
Frawley Injured, Barrett Steps In
Ciarán Frawley will miss the match due to a back injury sustained during Leinster’s win over Bristol Bears. Frawley was withdrawn at half-time and will require further assessment. His replacement, Jordie Barrett, made a strong debut, scoring a try and making a significant impact in the second half.
Lowe and Keenan Also Out
James Lowe is unavailable due to a calf injury picked up while on international duty with Ireland against Australia. This injury ruled him out of last weekend’s Champions Cup opener as well. Hugo Keenan is struggling with a wrist injury and will be sidelined for the next few weeks.
