Jakarta (Antara) – Fujifilm officially launched two new products in the X Series line namely the Fujifilm X -E5 Mirrorless Digital Camera and the Fujinon XF23MMMF2.8 R WR lens which is claimed to be able to meet the needs of modern photographers

Both of these devices combine a concise body, sophisticated technology, and the ability to produce images with high resolution, sharp details and accurate color reproduction.

“For us, innovation is not just presenting new technology, but creating tools that inspire visual creators to tell stories,” said Fujifilm Indonesia President Director Masato Yamamoto in his statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

Fujifilm X-E5 weighs only about 445 grams, equipped with a CMOS 5 HR X-Trans sensor with a resolution of 40.2 megapixels with back-illuminated and high-speed X-Processor 5 image processors.

For the first time in the XE Series line, the X-E5 comes with an Inbody Image Stabilization (IBIS) 5-axis, which is able to provide compensation of up to 7.0 stops in the middle of the frame and 6.0 stops on the edge of the frame, facilitate sharp shooting even in minimal light conditions or when photographing without a tripod.

The X-E5 design also accentuates the quality of the material, with a top plate made from aluminum produced in precision, providing a smooth metallic texture and sturdy taste in the grasp.

The Classic Display feature in the viewfinder displays minimalist key information at the bottom of the frame, combined with intuitive dial settings and one hand operation, so that photographers can focus more on the creative process.

“X-E5 is designed to give freedom of expression, combining high-performance portabilities so that each photographer can capture moments with the best quality,” Masato said.

Meanwhile Fujinon XF23MMF2.8 R WR, the latest lens in the XF Lens line has high optical quality and reproduction of typical Fujifilm colors. With a focus length of 23 mm (equivalent to 35 mm in the format of 35 mm) and weighs only about 90 grams, this lens is one of the most concise in its class.

Although small in size, XF23MMF2.8 R WR has a high resolution performance that is completely compatible with the X-Trans CMOS 5 HR 40.2 MP sensor.

This lens is designed versatile for various photography styles such as traveling, street photography, portrait and landscape modes, and tabletop photography.

With weather-resistant construction, this lens remains reliable in various conditions, including in drizzle weather and dusty areas.

In Indonesia this camera is priced at Rp24,888,000 for the body only variant, and Rp28,888,000 for the XF23mm packet and lens.
