Ghost in the Shell Exhibition to Showcase New Anime’s Early Art
We have expanded the archive exhibition from 600 items (announced in July 2025) to over 1,000, including previously unreleased materials such as original drawings, setting materials, and storyboards from the entire “Ghost in the Shell” series. Notably, the exhibition will feature the first-ever public release of original drawings for a new anime scheduled for release in 2026.
Experience Opening the Treasured “Cut Bag”
A “cut bag” contains materials for each cut during anime production. This exhibition offers a unique experience where visitors can open these “cut bags” and explore the behind-the-scenes production process. This interactive exhibition allows viewers to “excavate” individual pieces from a collection of over 3,000 cut bags, simulating the experience of being on an anime production site and the thrill of discovering unseen original artwork.
Purchase the Largest Selection of Original Goods Ever at an Immersive Store
The venue will host an immersive store featuring exclusive original goods, including collaborative items to be announced soon. The space realistically recreates the world of “Ghost in the Shell,” offering a unique shopping experience. This immersive purchasing experience bridges “cyber space to reality,” allowing visitors to relive the excitement of the exhibition within the shop.
Collaboration events with Creators
We are planning public conversation events featuring creators who admire “Ghost in the Shell.” These events will explore the work’s appeal, its influence on their own creations, and the relationship between future technology and humanity. Speaker announcements will be made on official social media channels.
