Gospel singer Eric Moyo, 42, dies after feeling unwell on stage

The world of gospel is once again dyed in mourning. A few days after the death of the Brazilian singer Pedro Henrique, the news of the death of Eric Moyogospel singer Zimbabwewho died at the age of 42.

According to South African media reports, the artist felt unwell during a performance on stage and was taken to a hospital, where he died. Apparently, he started to feel unwell during the concert and even dropped his microphone. At the hospital, after performing some tests, they detected a brain hemorrhage and, despite being admitted to the ICU, he died.

Moyo was part of the gospel group Joyous Celebration and was the winner of the television competition ‘Idols East Africa’.

The gospel group to which Moyo belonged has reported his death through Twitter, where it has announced an event in his memory that will take place this December 24. “Let’s celebrate the life of a brother, a son, a friend and a role model for many,” they say.
