VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Progress is being made on two highly anticipated Raising Cane’s locations in the Victor Valley, bringing the popular chicken finger chain closer to opening in both Victorville and Apple Valley.

In Victorville, grading and site preparation has officially begun at the future Raising Cane’s near WinCo on Roy Rogers Drive. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, representatives confirmed that the timeline remains undetermined.

Last year, City of Victorville spokeswoman Sue Jones shared the city’s expectations for the project timeline. “We anticipate permits could be pulled in the first quarter of 2025 with construction starting soon after,” Jones stated.

The Victorville location is set to include a 2,900-square-foot building with a dual-lane drive-thru, indoor and outdoor dining, and will be part of the Desert Sun Plaza shopping center.

Meanwhile in Apple Valley, construction crews have also begun grading land for a new shopping center along Bear Valley Road that will include Raising Cane’s, Sprouts Farmers Market, and Mister Car Wash. The project site is just east of Apple Valley Road.

In August 2023, the Town of Apple Valley approved the plans, making it official that Raising Cane’s would open in a 3,546-square-foot standalone building with drive-thru service. The entire development covers over 8 acres and also includes multiple restaurant pads and retail suites.

LoopNet listings show a 15-year corporate lease for the Apple Valley Raising Cane’s has already been signed. The Sprouts Farmers Market, a central anchor to the center, is expected to open by November 2025.

Currently, Hesperia is home to the only Raising Cane’s in the High Desert, which opened in 2021. With these two new locations, fans of the chain’s signature chicken fingers and Cane’s Sauce will soon have more local options to satisfy their cravings.
