Cori Broadus, daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg, has publicly shared the heartbreaking news of her daughter Codi’s passing. Broadus announced the loss on Saturday via her Instagram Story, writing, “On Monday I lost the love of my life, my Codi.”
Codi was born prematurely and spent ten months in the hospital before being allowed to return home. Tragically, she passed away just 20 days after being discharged.
Snoop Dogg himself shared a photograph on Sunday featuring his children,including Cori,though he did not include a caption. The post quickly garnered an outpouring of support and condolences from fans and followers.
This is not the first time the rapper has experienced the loss of a grandchild. In 2019, his eldest son, Corde Broadus, lost his third child, who died ten days after birth.
