Halo Infinite Progress Ends, Final Update Announced

After 4 years since its release, Halo Infinite has finally stopped development, and the development team is preparing its final major update.

Halo Studios finally decided to end its support for Halo Infinite, and announced that it would no longer provide major content updates after 4 years of uncertain life. The last major update, Operation: Infinite, which will be released on November 18 2025, will be the game’s final content, containing new armor, maps, challenges, and a 2x XP bonus.

On the official blog, Halo Studios explained that this decision was made to focus energy on several new Halo projects, including Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved (2001) which was announced recently, and also other game projects that have not yet been announced.
