Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, twice president of Argentina, received this Monday two terrible news from the Justice Department, that reopened the processes in which she is accused of money laundering and of a pact with Iran to cover up the attack on a Jewish association in 1994.

The case known as Hotesur and Los Sauces, which investigates money laundering, illicit association and gifts through hotels owned by the Kirchners in Patagonia, will advance to an oral and public trial, as decided by the Federal Court of Criminal Cassation. The same court also confirmed the holding of the oral trial for the attack on the AMIA (Association of Israeli Mutual Insurance in Argentina).

The current vice president has the option of appealing to the Supreme Court of Justice, although the highest court in the country is the one that, precisely, paved the way towards the reopening of the trials, which were stopped by judges related to Kirchnerism.
