Olivia Attwood, the reality TV veteran, has thrown her hat in the ring to potentially replace Maya Jama as the host of Love Island.
Speaking to The Sun, Attwood expressed her deep connection to the show, stating, “I have such an emotional connection to that show and the people that make it. Even if I had some reason, I couldn’t turn it down because my heart would feel like: ‘I’m going home! Back to the mother ship!’ So if that day ever comes, consider me available.”
While Olivia clearly desires the role, she also acknowledged Maya Jama’s impressive performance, saying, “Maya’s smashing it.”
Attwood’s recent success hosting her own dating show, Bad Boyfriends, has solidified her status as a TV powerhouse. She’s transformed from Love Island contestant to successful presenter, landing lucrative deals and fronting various spin-offs, documentaries, and even appearing on Loose Women.
Her journey began in 2017 when she competed on Love Island, finishing third alongside Chris Hughes. Since then, she’s become one of the show’s most successful contestants, branching out into various projects.
Attwood’s latest venture, Bad Boyfriends, sees her guiding a group of boys towards respectful relationships. She also recently tied the knot with footballer Bradley Dack in a lavish ceremony.
Despite a brief stint on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! cut short due to health reasons, Olivia has focused on her TV career and documentaries, proving her versatility and talent.
