CCOO and UGT have reached a principle of agreement with the direction of H&M to improve the working conditions and wages of the 4,000 employees of the template Spain.
The pact includes a sales incentive for all workers up to 50 euros per month and the increase of resources in the different stores.
The CCOO has highlighted that this agreement comes after the success of the strike demonstrations, called together with the UGT, in the middle of the sales campaign and that led to the closure of a hundred stores of the fashion brand in Spain. Thus, the two days of strike that were scheduled for July 1 and 8 have been called off.
In this way, unions and company, after intense negotiations at the headquarters of the Interconfederal Mediation and Arbitration Service (SIMA), have reached an agreement in which salary increases as a sales incentive for all positions in the store up to 50 euros per monthlinked to effective presence, which will be valid until 2025.
CCOO has specified that before it ends there will be a joint evaluation with the company to see the conditions of the continuity of the incentive.
