Not Every Day Is a Crisis

This was one of those days.
I was able to sleep fairly well, but I woke up with a headache. I took some ibuprofen, but it didn’t seem to help much. I tried to go back to sleep, but I just couldn’t. I got up adn made some coffee, and then I started to work. I was able to get a few things done, but I wasn’t really focused. I decided to call my doctor and make an appointment. She said that it was probably just a tension headache, but she wanted to see me just to be sure. I went to the doctor’s office, and she examined me. She said that everything looked normal, and she prescribed me some stronger pain medication.
I was relieved to hear that it wasn’t anything serious, but I was still frustrated that I had wasted a day on a headache. I went home and took the pain medication, and it finally started to work. I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.
