No Bad Blood: My “No Stage View” Eras Tour Experience

Some might say “no stage view” tickets to a Taylor Swift concert are a gamble. But, let me tell you, even with a limited view, the Eras Tour delivered a spectacular, unforgettable experience.

The Gift of “Pay-What-You-Can” Tickets

My friend, a true Swiftie hero, snapped up a pair of $16 “no stage view” tickets for the Eras Tour’s Vancouver show. She had religiously followed fan accounts alerting fans to Ticketmaster queue openings, finally securing tickets to all three Vancouver shows. She offered me a ticket at face value, refusing any ideas of reselling it for exorbitant prices. Considering the ticket chaos surrounding the tour and my own desire (ok, obsession) to see the show, $19 including fees felt like a steal.

A Sea of Swifties

Inside B.C. Place, the energy was electric! Over 60,000 people, from young girls to dedicated fans celebrating milestone birthdays, shared a collective sense of joy and community. The Swiftie spirit was palpable.

Despite the “no stage view” designation, we still had a great view. We could see much of the catwalk, glimpse Taylor during some songs on the stage wings, and even catch the flames from the pyrotechnics during “Bad Blood” and “Karma”!

More Than Just the Stage

Even beyond the stage view, the Eras Tour was a logistical and technical marvel. Seeing the backup dancers, vocalists, and even the band members (each instantly recognizable to hardcore Swifties) enter and exit the stage was fascinating. It offered a glimpse into the spectacle’s complexity and scale.

A Worthwhile Experience Even Without a Perfect View

Even though we didn’t have the most premium seating, the energy, the music, and the moment mattered far more. For those who couldn’t attend the Eras Tour at all, our (quite possibly singed eyebrow) experience felt overwhelmingly lucky.
