Ida Lindtveit Røs Appointed Parliamentary Leader of KrF
The christian Democratic Party (KrF) has announced the appointment of Ida Lindtveit Røs, currently the party’s deputy leader from Akershus, as its new parliamentary leader. This appointment positions Røs as the party’s most prominent figure within the Storting (norwegian Parliament).
The party stated that Røs will champion key KrF policies, focusing on strengthening family values, maintaining a firm stance against drugs, fostering economic growth, and ensuring high-quality care for the elderly. “We will work for a breakthrough for good KrF policy that puts families first, ensures that we as a society clearly say no to drugs, that it is facilitated for value creation and ensures a dignified and good elderly care,” Røs affirmed.
Alongside Røs’s appointment, Jorunn Gleditsch Lossius, KrF’s second deputy leader, has been elected as the parliamentary deputy leader.
Notably, KrF leader Dag Inge Ulstein does not currently hold a seat in the storting, making the role of parliamentary leader especially crucial for steering the party’s agenda within the legislature.
