Details of the Strike
The strike hit a room within the Ramada hotel building in Beirut’s city center early Sunday morning, also wounding at least 10 others . The Israeli military announced it had launched strikes in Beirut, specifically targeting the southern suburbs, a known Hezbollah stronghold .
Escalation of Middle East Tensions
Lebanon was drawn into the broader Middle East conflict on Monday following an attack by Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militant group, on Israel.
