Israel and US Agree to Send 200 Hamas Fighters Outside Palestine
Gaza City – Israel and the United States of America (US) have reached an agreement to transfer approximately 200 Hamas fighters who were trapped in tunnels in Rafah, Gaza Strip, which is currently controlled by Israeli troops amidst a ceasefire. These Hamas fighters will be “exiled” outside the Palestinian territories.
The agreement, as reported by Anadolu Agency on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, was revealed by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth in a recent report, citing an unnamed Israeli official from the Tel Aviv Security Cabinet.
Yedioth Ahronoth quoted the Israeli official as stating that the agreement resulted from talks between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US special envoy Jared Kushner, who is also the son-in-law of Donald trump, during Kushner’s visit to Israel this week.
