The 34th annual Jazz Baltica festival recently concluded in Timmendorfer Strand, drawing an impressive crowd and solidifying it’s position as a premier jazz event in Europe. Led once again by renowned Swedish trombonist Nils Landgren, the festival showcased a diverse lineup of talent and captivated audiences with its vibrant atmosphere.
Record Attendance Demonstrates Growing Popularity
This year’s festival welcomed approximately 19,000 attendees, marking a important increase from the roughly 18,000 visitors in 2024.Notably, every ticketed event was fully sold out, a testament to the festival’s enduring appeal and the quality of its programming. Beyond the ticketed performances, a generous free open-air program featuring 21 concerts further enriched the cultural landscape of Timmendorfer Strand.
