JCDecaux has been recognized for its commitment to environmental sustainability, securing a place on the CDP’s A List for the third year in a row.This prestigious ranking acknowledges the company’s leadership in openness and environmental performance.
The CDP,a global non-profit that assesses companies on their climate change action,evaluated over 20,000 businesses.JCDecaux is among the top 4% to achieve an ‘A’ rating, marking its fifth appearance on the list and reaffirming its “Leadership” level first attained in 2019.
“Reducing our carbon footprint is a core priority for JCDecaux,” stated a company representative. “We are committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050, with significant interim goals set for 2030.”
JCDecaux reported substantial progress in 2024, achieving a 65% reduction in emissions for scopes 1 and 2 (market-based) and a 21% reduction in scope 3 emissions, both measured against a 2019 baseline. These reductions demonstrate the company’s dedication to minimizing its environmental impact and contributing to a more sustainable future.
