Austin Celtic Festival Announces 2026 Dates, Volunteer Opportunities

The 30th annual Austin Celtic Festival is tentatively scheduled for November 7 and 8, 2026, at Pioneer Farms in North Austin, Texas. The festival, a celebration of Celtic culture, music, and arts, is seeking volunteers for various roles.

Festival Highlights

The Austin Celtic Festival showcases a diverse range of Celtic traditions, including:

• Celtic Music & Dance: Featuring regional and international artists.
• Workshops & Celtic History: Offering courses and lectures on Celtic arts and history.
• Highland Games: Competitions throughout the weekend. Those interested in competing can email austinhighlandgames@gmail.com for more information.
• Celtic Animals: Showcasing Celtic dog breeds and mini horse breeds. Note that only registered Celtic dogs are permitted in the parade; no other pets are allowed. Interested participants can email celticanimals@gmail.com.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Austin Celtic Festival relies heavily on volunteers and offers several opportunities to get involved. Volunteers receive benefits including:

• Facilities Volunteers: Shifts available Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

• ACF Merchandise Booth: Shifts available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (all slots are currently filled).
• Admissions Gate: Shifts available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (all slots are currently filled).
• Vendor Area: Shifts available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (all slots are currently filled).
• Animal Volunteers: Shifts available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (all slots are currently filled).
