Kennesaw State Football Pro Day Showcases NFL Potential

KENNESAW, Ga. – Seventeen National Football League teams and two Canadian Football League teams were represented at Kennesaw State football’s first Pro Day under head coach Jerry Mack on Thursday, March 19, 2026, on the campus of KSU. Fifteen former Owls participated, hoping to impress scouts and earn opportunities in the professional ranks.

The following former Kennesaw State players auditioned for NFL and CFL scouts: Chase Belcher, Coleman Bennett, Gabriel Benyard, Rod Daniels, Tylon Dunlap, Jordan Jackson, Milon Jones, Caleb Offord, Jamar Rucks, Antonio Stevens, Tykeem Wallace, Adam Watkins, Britton Williams, Cameron Williams, and James Ziglor.

Pro Day Highlights

Participants were evaluated through standard NFL combine drills, including the bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 40-yard dash, three-cone shuttle, and 20-yard shuttle. Several Owls posted impressive numbers:

  • Caleb Offord (DB): Demonstrated exceptional agility with a 6.88-second 3-cone drill – a time that would have been the fastest among cornerbacks at the 2026 NFL Combine. He as well recorded a 4.33-second shuttle drill, a 10-foot, 6-inch broad jump, a 37.5-inch vertical jump, and a 4.50 40-yard dash.
  • Coleman Bennett (RB): Achieved a 4.25-second shuttle drill, which would have been the fastest time for a running back at the 2026 NFL Combine, and a 10-foot, 4-inch broad jump.
  • Rod Daniels (DL): Completed 27 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press, a performance that would have tied for third among defensive ends at the 2026 NFL Combine.
  • Adam Watkins (DL): Managed 23 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press, a result that would have ranked fifth among defensive tackles at the 2026 NFL Combine.
  • James Ziglor (DB): Posted a 4.32-second shuttle drill, tying for second among safeties at the 2026 NFL Combine.

The Kennesaw State Owls’ pro hopefuls now focus on the 2026 NFL Draft, scheduled for April 23-25.
