Krasnodar continued its robust infrastructure progress in 2025,focusing on socially important projects designed to enhance the quality of life for residents. The city is simultaneously undertaking the construction of numerous facilities, including schools, kindergartens, and sports complexes, according to the mayor’s office.
Throughout the year, 14 new social facilities were completed and opened to the public. This included the addition of two new schools capable of accommodating 3,675 students, and 12 kindergartens with a combined capacity of 3,885 children. These additions address the growing needs of families in the Kuban capital.
Currently,Krasnodar has 17 schools,26 kindergartens, and three sports and recreation complexes under construction, signaling a continued commitment to expanding public services. These projects are expected to further improve access to education, childcare, and recreational opportunities.
Significant progress was also made on a major infrastructure project: the second stage of the main sewer collector No. 20 in the Kubansky district. This project involves laying 23 kilometers of pipeline and constructing three sewage pumping stations, each with a capacity of 100,000 to 150,000 cubic meters per day. The collector represents one of the largest infrastructure investments in Krasnodar.
Along with these large-scale projects, efforts were made to improve infrastructure in residential areas. Engineering infrastructure was extended to land plots allocated to large families in the village of Prigorodnoye, ensuring reliable power supply to these areas.
