Rapper Ksoo Sentenced to 10 Years in Second Murder Case

Jacksonville rapper Hakeem “Ksoo” Robinson, 26, has pleaded guilty to a second murder charge, receiving a 10-year prison sentence. This sentencing comes months after he and his cousin were sentenced to life in prison for a separate murder conviction.

Second-Degree Murder Plea

On Monday, February 23, 2026, Robinson pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the 2019 death of 16-year-old Adrian “Lil Bibby” Gainer Jr., according to court documents obtained by XXL. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by five years of probation. The shooting occurred on February 25, 2019, at the Hilltop Village apartments, now known as New Hope Apartments.

Previous Conviction and Ongoing Legal Battles

This conviction follows a July 2025 guilty verdict for the 2020 murder of Charles “Lil Buck” McCormick Jr. News4Jax reported that Robinson received a life sentence without parole in that case. His cousin, Leroy Whitaker, also received a life sentence in connection with McCormick’s death. Robinson’s father, Abdul Robinson Sr., and brother, Abdul Robinson Jr., were also convicted in the same murder, receiving time served and 12 years in prison, respectively.

Details of the Crimes

Gainer was found dead in the parking lot of the apartment complex after a 911 call. Investigators discovered 45 shell casings at the scene, XXL reports. Following Gainer’s death, Robinson allegedly posted photos and videos on social media appearing to celebrate the killing.

The murder of McCormick occurred on January 15, 2020, at Dames Pointe Plaza. Authorities believe the shooting was motivated by a rap feud stemming from the death of Robinson’s stepbrother, Willie Addison. Jacksonville.com details that Addison was shot a year prior to McCormick’s murder while leaving a club.

Gang Rivalry and Family Involvement

The cases are rooted in a gang rivalry between ATK and 6block. McCormick allegedly wrote a “diss track” about Addison’s death, which prosecutors say fueled Robinson’s motive for the murder. Jacksonville.com reported that Robinson’s father testified against him, identifying him as the shooter.

News4Jax reported that Hakeem ‘Ksoo’ Robinson pleaded guilty in the death of another fellow Jacksonville rapper.
