Piastri‘s Victory and Norris’s Championship Challenge
It’s still the end of August. Oscar piastri just secured the trophy for winning the Dutch Grand Prix, solidifying his lead in the championship standings. Lando Norris watched from the sidelines,forced to retire due to a technical issue,and faces a significant uphill battle to recover and contend for the title.
Norris’s challenge is made even steeper by his own statements. Earlier this year,he declared his intention to win the championship as a “good boy,” refusing to adopt a more ruthless persona.”There are certain things that I wouldn’t do that other champions have done. I don’t have what most drivers or most champions have in me becuase I wasn’t brought up that way.”
While Norris is admirable as a sportsman, it appears he may lack the willingness to push boundaries or engage in the psychological and political maneuvering frequently enough required to win a World Championship.These tactics have historically been crucial for many champions.
