Fans have been paying tribute too the singer Beverley knight after the death of her mother, Pauline Knight.
Ms Knight, who grew up in Wolverhampton, announced her mother’s death on social media on Wednesday.
Tributes have been left at west Park in Wolverhampton, where Beverley Knight performed a free concert in 2019.
fans have left flowers, cards and messages on the railings surrounding the park.
One message read: “So sorry for your loss, sending love to you and your family.”
Another said: “Pauline was a wonderful woman, she will be sadly missed.”
Beverley Knight has not yet released a statement about the tributes.
Fans Pay Tribute to Singer at Manchester Bandstand
Fans have gathered at a bandstand in Manchester to create a growing tribute to a beloved singer. Sarah McRobb, an Australian resident of Manchester, was among those who contributed to the memorial.
The 30-year-old included her favorite quotes,”just random things from all different videos and just the funny moments that kind of showed the kind of person he was,” in her writen tribute. She expressed a desire for others to visit and “just remember” him.
“coming here, it feels like [the] closest place to be connected to Liam in a way, and everybody kind of comes here,” McRobb said. She noted the space was transformed for his birthday and anticipates further tributes will be added.
McRobb described the singer as kind and a “great role model,” adding, “I think the world would just be a lot better place if he was still in it.”

Film director John Carpenter has recalled a chance meeting with Kurt Cobain when they were both teenagers.
Carpenter, now 75, said he met the Nirvana frontman when both were at secondary school in aberdeen, Washington, in the early 1980s.
“He was a quiet kid,” Carpenter told the BBC. “I remember him drawing. He was very talented.”
