A 29-year-ancient man has pleaded guilty to 20 counts of theft following unauthorized debit card transactions at multiple businesses in Limerick city. Jose Filho, residing at Heritage Close, Belview Gardens, Ennis Road, appeared before Limerick District Court and admitted to the offenses, which violate Section 4 of the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act, 2001.

  • Fine Wines, Castletroy: Unauthorized transactions occurred at this location.

Court Proceedings and Outcome

Solicitor Sarah Ryan, representing Filho, stated that her client would require time to reimburse the stolen funds. Judge Patricia Harney granted Filho bail with the condition that he pay the compensation.
