Fredonia’s Performing Arts Collaborative to Stage “Little Shop of Horrors”
The Performing Arts Collaborative (PAC), a student-led theater group at the State University of New York at Fredonia, will present a production of the classic sci-fi horror musical “Little Shop of Horrors” from March 27 to 29, 2026.

Performances will be held in the Alice E. Bartlett Theatre of Rockefeller Arts Center. Showtimes are as follows:
- Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. (matinee)
About “Little Shop of Horrors”
“Little Shop of Horrors” centers on a meek flower shop assistant who stumbles upon a man-eating plant with a thirst for blood. The plant promises fame and fortune, leading the protagonist into a dangerous bargain to win the affection of his love interest. The musical is known for its dark humor and catchy pop/rock score, featuring songs like “Suddenly Seymour” and “Skid Row (Downtown).”
The Creative Team
The musical features book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, the duo behind Disney hits such as “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Aladdin.”
PAC: A Hub for Student Theater
The Performing Arts Collaborative is the second-largest student organization at Fredonia. In addition to staging productions like “Little Shop of Horrors,” PAC produces original student perform and offers workshops and master classes, aiming to provide opportunities for all students interested in theater.
