Men’s race: Hauser’s grip on the series meets Wilde’s surging momentum
This year’s men’s field is stacked with quality, and while Olympic champion Alex Yee is absent, virtually every other major player in the 2025 season is set to line up.
That includes world number one Matt Hauser, who has been almost flawless this season, winning all but one of his races. Hauser has already maxed out his 2025 WTCS points tally, but Karlovy vary offers the Australian a chance to fine-tune his Olympic-distance racing ahead of a home Championship Finals in Wollongong.
The man most likely to unsettle him is Vincent Luis.
