The pulse between the People’s Party y Vox that could lead to Region of Murcia to an electoral repetition is over. The candidate popularwinner of the 28M elections, Fernando Lopez Mirashas offered Vox to become part of the new Executive to get the votes it needs for its investiture and end a blockade that could lead to a third election in less than six months.
The offer is the result of the conversations, described as “cordial” by Vox, that the leaders of the two parties began. This is the formula that López Miras defended, a government program agreement with 88 points in common and the vice presidency of the Assembly, but Vox rejected it. He denied the two votes that the popular voter needed to achieve a majority and demanded that he enter the Governing Council with a representation equivalent to 18% of the votes obtained. And from there he has not moved.
This very morning, six days before the deadline to avoid going to the polls again, he has once again made a gesture of force, leaving only the PP and voting in the Permanent Deputation against the decree-law approved by the acting government Lopez Miras last August to extend the moratorium that prevents new urban constructions in the surroundings of the Mar Menor.
López Miras’s offer to favor the agreement requires an express negotiation in which Vox has already exhibited its conditions. “We celebrate the rapprochement of positions that make it possible to unblock the negotiation. We believe it is important that Vox be in the government with three councils, one of them that of Agriculturewhere we understand that we can provide great added value in this new stage”, he assured in a message on social networks Jose Angel Antelo.
